P a g e | 113 Prior Testing In one of the earliest U.S. studies, Louisiana State University (LSU) performed a comprehensive analysis of pavements treated with TiO 2 . 240 Two tests – reactive nitrogen reductions on pavement samples approached 60% in a photoreactor (Figure 70) and field pavement surface nitrate collection (Figure 71) showed a tenfold increase on treated surfaces, both proving strong photocatalytic activity.
