Cyclogen®1 recycling agents are formulated from selected petroleum-based maltene and asphaltene fractions to correct the durability parameter (N+A1) / (P+A2) of aging asphalt.

Once the asphalt pavement has been properly milled to the desired sieve size for recycling, Cyclogen® oil or emulsion is the only additive required. It is available in various viscosity grades and formulations to optimize the consistency of the recycled asphalt mix:

  • For  Hot Recycling, Cyclogen® agent is added in one of two grades of oil (L and M).
  • For Cold Recycling, Cyclogen® agent is added in one of two grades of cationic emulsion (LE, ME). The emulsion versions may also be used for hot recycling depending on the type of mixing equipment used.

Cyclogen® recycling agents are the ideal one-step additive solution for both hot and cold asphalt recycling in rural areas and other communities where government agencies and private roadways are using recycled asphalt to rebuild roads.
