Instructions: This is how it works!

  1. To calculate your current "Cost per lane mile", you will use your total annual resurfacing budget amount (in dollars) and the current number of lane miles you resurfaced.

  2. Calculate the new life cycle cost for pavements preserved with ReclamiteŽ

  3. Calculate the cost savings per lane mile and the total annual cost savings.

  4. Calculate the lane miles that can be treated with ReclamiteŽ for each lane mile of resurfacing cost diverted to preservation.

ReclamiteŽ is a cationic emulsion of the four maltene components of an asphalt binder. The maltenes are the volatile components which are reduced by contact with air and heat. The application of ReclamiteŽ replaces these original components which were lost to oxidation thereby restoring the asphalt binders flexibility and durability.
